When learning a foreign language, it is always important to ensure the right balance between serious study and relaxed perception. After the drill of grammatical rules, the concentrated reading of a text or the learning of vocabulary, relaxed and entertaining learning techniques should also be used. At the same time you learn a lot about the foreign culture and language by simply, passively listening or watching.
It is not so important whether you understand everything. When you watch movies, you can already experience the manners and typical gestures of Germans. By listening, you will get used to German pronunciation and sentence melody.
You will also discover that Germans are not as humorless as the stereotype would have you believe. You will also discover that the range of humor is very wide, from cheap entertainment humor to political satire (cabaret).
For some sketches there is also a listening test and exercises.
Enjoy!
